Hello! I am from British Columbia, Canada. I have been teaching in Canada and Internationally for the past 10 years. I’ve completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and a Bachelor of Education, specialising in Elementary education. I love teaching and I’m passionate about being an educator.

Throughout my experience, I have tried my best to hone my craft, and to continue to grow and learn. In my opinion, I believe children learn best in an inquisitive, open and kind environment; where their interests are engaged and they are involved in their learning process.

Ultimately, I believe children should be nurtured in their learning, a classroom acting as a third teacher, and a teacher to be there to guide the students; ever compassionate and patient while their students look for the answers and ask the questions.

I also love to be creative in the classroom, and find ways to bring art and nature into our learning. I love the inquiry approach to educating, where the teacher follows the interest of the students, and guides them in their learning as oppose to directing it.
